What's my story?

Name: Mushroom

Age: estimated at 8-12 months

Arrived at SAA: October 2025

About me: Mushroom has spent an unknown amount of her life living loose outside, as a result she is still learning to trust people. She is getting much braver and will come over for food now and occasionally let you stroke her but she also spooks easily. She needs a patient and experienced owner who is happy with however much or litter interaction Mushroom chooses to offer. She will need to be bonded with at least 1 other rabbit would benefit from a companion who is laid back to show her the world isn’t quite as scary as she thinks. She has made brilliant progress in her time at SAA but she may always be a rabbit who just wants to do rabbity things rather than spend much time interacting with people. She is only young and full of energy and is a joy to simply watch her do her own thing.

Am I an indoor or outdoor rabbit? She would be best suited to an outdoor home, she could maybe live indoors if it was a very quiet adult only household with the rabbits in their own room. They will need a minimum space of 6ft x 10ft however bigger is always better! This space needs to be available 24/7 and be fully predator proof.

Can I live with children? No

All animals adopted from SAA are microchipped, vaccinated and neutered before going to their new homes.
