Halloumi and Ricotta

What's my story?

Names: Halloumi and Ricotta

Age: estimated at 1 year

Arrived at SAA: December 2025

About me: Halloumi and Ricotta arrived with us after being abandoned in a box outside with several other rabbits. We don’t know much about their history but Ricotta has had babies before coming to us and they arrived soaked in urine. Despite their traumatic ordeal, they are very sweet girls who have not lost their trust of people. Ricotta is very confident and cheeky and is definitely the ring leader of the pair. Halloumi is a little more hesitant and can be spooked easily but is still a very sweet girl. They love any kind of enrichment and are very food motivated. They would love a home with lots to do in their enclosure to keep their young minds busy!

Am I an indoor or outdoor rabbit? They can live indoors or outdoors. They will need a minimum space of 6ft x 10ft however bigger is always better! This space needs to be available 24/7 and be fully predator proof.

Can I live with children? calmer children

All animals adopted from SAA are microchipped, vaccinated and neutered before going to their new homes.

All viewings of animals are by appointment only.

All adoptions are subject to a home check and an adoption fee. If you are interested in adopting please submit an adoption interest form.
