Music To My Ears

12107028_693829044051573_4534255410048423734_nOn Sunday 29th May, the sun was beating down and the drums were being beaten! The Carter’s Arms in Sale held their biannual music festival and we were one of the charities to benefit from this spectacle. We set up our cake stall and sold scones, both salted caramel and vanilla cupcakes, and banana loaf to the assembled masses. We raffled off a giant Winnie the Pooh and I tasted the pub’s chilli, it was very good. All in all we managed to raise £330.30, heard some good music and acquired a suntan, can’t be a bad way to spend a Sunday! Thank you Carter’s Arms.
