Seven ♂️

What's my story?

Give a very warm welcome to 6 year old Seven who has unbelievably been with us for over a year!

Seven came to us after he became unwell and his owners were unable to afford his vet bills. He’s become a firm favourite among both staff and volunteers. We asked our one of our volunteers to sum up Seven in five bullet points and this is what they came up with;

  • “Like a therapy cat”
  • “Relaxed”
  • “Comfortable with people”
  • “Friendly and affectionate”
  • “Chunky monkey”

And we wholeheartedly agree! However the “chunky monkey” is a work in progress and he is on a reduced portion sizes but we’re confident that his weight loss journey will soar once he has free roam in his forever home.

Seven is a debonair, handsome purr-pot with a penchant for tummy rubs. He has firework whiskers which look like a flamboyant moustache and has a little diamond on his nose which is appropriate for the little diamond that he is!

Seven is on a specialist food diet and takes one dose of medicine every morning as he has urinary problems, he will be on this food regime and medicine for the rest of his life. These issues put him at higher risk of developing urinary infection and cystitis, although we’re delighted to say that he’s not had one flare up in the year we’ve had him. Episodes of infection can be triggered by stress or changes in environment, so he’s looking for experienced owners who can keep an eye on him and whizz him to the vets for a course of anti-inflammatories and antibiotics when necessary. Seven is looking for a calm, quiet home and would make a wonderful companion cat. He would like a home with safe access to the outdoors. Seven can be rehomed with female cats but does not get on with male cats (possibly because they are jealous of his dashing good looks).

If you are interested in adopting Seven please fill out an adoption information form. Adoptions are subject to home checks.
