Ruby (reserved)

What's my story?

Name: Ruby

Age: 3

Arrived at SAA:  28 March 2025

About me: Ruby has had a very stressful past. She was taken in as a stray but had to be rehomed after getting bullied by the existing cats in her new home and becoming very distressed. She was happy as a companion cat in her temporary home but sadly had to come to the SAA through no fault of her own as they were unable to keep her long term. She’s used to having someone around at all times and is finding the shelter environment very lonely. She’s an affectionate little pudding who enjoys being the center of attention. She’s looking for a quiet, adult only home where she can settle down and live out many more years! She will need a home where someone is home most of the time as she doesn’t enjoy being alone.

Am I an indoor or outdoor cat? I will need safe access to the outdoors away from any busier roads

Can I live with dogs? No

Can I live with other cats? No

Can I live with children?  No, I’d prefer to live in a quiet, adult only home.

All animals adopted from SAA are chipped, vaccinated and neutered before going to their new homes.

If you are interested in adopting please fill out an adoption interest form

Please note that all visits are by appointment only and all adoptions are subject to an adoption fee and home check.
