About me: Maya is a chatty, affectionate little sweetie who originally came to us after being found crying and hiding under a bush by the side of the River Mersey. She’s unfortunately found herself back with us after not getting on with the resident cat in the household and getting agitated around young children in the home. After much consideration her previous owners made the heart breaking decision to return her to the shelter so she could find a home that suits her better.

Maya is very vocal, confident, loves attention and will leap up on to your lap for a cuddle, she’s known for wolfing down her food at teatime and she’ll let you know in no uncertain terms if it’s even five minutes late!

Am I an indoor or outdoor cat? Outdoors away from busy roads

Can I live with dogs? No

Can I live with other cats? Maybe

Can I live with children?  Older, cat savvy children

All animals adopted from SAA are chipped, vaccinated and neutered before going to their new homes.
