Henrietta

What's my story?

Name: Henrietta

Age: 11 years approx.

Arrived at SAA:  June 2026

About me: Henrietta came to us as a feral cat after living for years as a stray around a motorcycle garage. When the owners of the garage moved to a different location they contacted us to find a new home for her. She’d always lived outdoors so she was originally housed in our feral colony. Being one of our feral cats can be lovely when the sun is shining but is quite a hard life come winter and we felt that Henrietta would be better suited to a cosy, domestic retirement home. We relocated her to our rehoming unit where she’s settled in beautifully and has started to come out of her shell a little more.

She’s a gentle, friendly soul who is looking for a peaceful and quiet retirement home. She’s a little wonky – we assume she was involved in a car accident when she was younger and the bones have healed higgledy-piggledy – however she’s in no pain and despite being lopsided has adapted perfectly well to her signature walk.

Am I an indoor or outdoor cat? safe access to the outdoors or indoor with a safe garden/catio etc

Can I live with dogs? Possibly – can be dog tested on request

Can I live with other cats? Yes

Can I live with children? Older, cat-savvy children

All animals adopted from SAA are chipped, vaccinated and neutered before going to their new homes.
