Cookie ♀- Our ‘longest stay’ cat!

What's my story?

Meet Cookie!

Cookie is about 2 years old and she’s a pint-sized puss with a unique little personality to match. She has amazing gold eyes and the cutest little black toe beans that you’ve ever seen. She likes her space and enjoys a stroke but she doesn’t like to be picked up. Her foster mum, said she loves to cuddle up on her on her own terms. She can be playful, but as long as it’s on her terms. Poor Cookie hasn’t had the easiest start in life and she deserves to find a comfy and loving home where she can be her quirky little self.

History – Cookie was pregnant and living as a stray, she was being fed by members of the public but they became worried about her giving birth on the streets so brought her into the shelter. She has been in our care since February 2023!

Cookie needs cat experienced owners who will get to respect her boundaries and give her space when she would like it. She needs an owner who doesn’t mind a bit of female cat sass and will let Cookie do her own thing and come to them when she wants a fuss. She would suit a home without children under 16 and no cats or dogs.
