What's my story?

It’s Rockin’ Rocket!

Rocket is around 8 years old and has been in our care for 8 months now due to needing ongoing treatment for ulceration in his eye. We are delighted to announce that Rocket is now available for adoption following successful treatment. He will need a drop of eye lubrication in his right eye, twice a day for the rest of his life to prevent any further issues but he is a very brave boy and takes this without a scratch or a yowl. You may notice from his photos that he’s a bit of a big lad, and while that means there’s more of him to love, it’s imperative that he slims down if he’s got any hope of qualifying for the next feline Olympics. He’s been on a diet since he arrived with us (of which he does not approve) and his new owners will need to resist his earnest petitions for Dreamies / Lick-e-Lix / whatever you’re having for dinner and keep him focused on his weight loss journey.

Rocket is a gentle, laid back soul and a firm favourite amongst staff and volunteers. We’ll miss him, but he’s been with us long enough and we all just want to see this chunky monkey complete his fitness regime in his forever home!

He is looking for a home with safe access to the outdoors away from any busy roads.

If you are interested in adopting Rocket from us please fill in an adoption interest form.

All visits are by appointment only and all adoptions are subject to home visit and adoption fee.
