What's my story?

Name:  Oreo

Age: 6 months

Arrived at SAA:  17th July 2024

About me:  Introducing a young man with a personality as big as his ears! Oreo is 6 months old and is a real people cat! He is a chatty, vocal boy who will meow at you until he has your undivided attention. He loves being held and cuddled and has would be an ideal family cat having lived with a young child previously. Oreo has not lived with other cats before but he’s a sociable chap who’s shown no reactivity to other cats in the shelter. Because of this we’re confident that he would adapt well to living with other friendly cats, especially a younger cat who he can get up to mischief with. He may also be ok living with a cat-friendly dog.

Oreo is looking for a home with safe access to the outdoors once he is old enough and settled into his new home. This means the home should not be on or next to a busy road.

Am I an indoor or outdoor cat? Outdoor (once I’m settled and a bit older)

Can I live with dogs?  Maybe

Can I live with other cats?  Yes

Can I live with children?  Yes

All animals adopted from SAA are chipped, vaccinated and neutered before going to their new homes.
