Bauble, Onyx, Opal and Quartz (Jingle and Tinsel reserved)

What's my story?

Name: Christmas kittens – Jingle, Tinsel and Bauble         Gemstone kittens – Opal, Onyx and Quartz

Age: 3 months old  Christmas kittens DOB 03/11/24 and Gemstone kittens DOB 16/10/24

Arrived at SAA: Christmas kittens arrived December 2024 and Gemstone kittens October 2024

About me: These 6 kittens are from 2 separate litters. It is always a worry when we have an odd number of kittens in a litter because it is hard to find homes for single kittens that already have  cat that will play with the kitten. So when we had 2 litters of 3 kittens similar in age and living next to each other it just made perfect sense to see if they got on and they do, they are the best of friends and will be rehomed as 3 pairs. They spend time together daily and once their mums have gone to their new homes, they will live together full time. They are now ready to reserve and will be ready to be adopted in a few weeks once they are fully vaccinated and neutered.

The gemstone kittens arrived in our care after their mum was found in a garden sofa with a litter of newborns. The Christmas kittens arrived with us at 6 weeks old after their mums owner was moving and could not take the cats to their new home.

Bauble (Available)– Tabby male. Bauble is confident and affectionate, he is bold and very playful and especially loves playfighting with the other kittens.

Onyx (Available)– Black female. Onyx is the most shy kitten currently although is making good progress. she has found the transition from her foster home to the rehoming center overwhelming so would benefit from being adopted into a quiter, calm household. Since she is quite shy she would be best being adopted with Opal or Quartz.

Opal (Available)-White and black female. Opal was initially quite shy but is making amazing progress and can be quite the attention seeker now! She especially loves to have her back scratched.

Quartz (Available)– tabby/tortie female. Quartz has been a little nervous since moving from her foster home to the rehoming centre but is very curious and enjoys spending time around people. She is just taking some time to warm up to new people but we have no doubt she will be following in Opals footsteps before we know it!

Jingle (reserved)– Tabby and white female. Jingle is a happy and sociable kitten, she loves playtime but loves attention from humans just as much! Jingle and Tinsel have a very close bond.

Tinsel (reserved)– Black and white female. Tinsel is a confident and curious girl, always the first to play with new toys. She loves climbing, playing and being stroked. Jingle and tinsel have a very close bond.

We will be rehoming these 6 in 3 pairs.

recommended pairs

–  Onyx would benefit from being rehomed with either Opal or Quartz

–  Bauble to be adopted with the remaining gemstone kitten either Opal and Quartz

– Jingle and Tinsel have been reserved together

Am I an indoor or outdoor cat? We will need safe access to the outdoors away from any busier roads ready for when we are old enough to go outside,

Can I live with dogs? unknown

Can I live with other cats? yes

Can I live with children?  it would be dependent on the child and which kittens but we are happy to discuss on an individual basis and see if its a good match

All animals adopted from SAA are chipped, vaccinated and neutered before going to their new homes.
