What's my story?

**Indoor cat**

Gertie has very sadly come back into our care again.  She is a lovely girl and is very settled here but she does have some anxieties in a home environment which means she will sometimes urinate on the floor when she is stressed.  We have not had a problem since her return but she does need a calm home with a predictable routine and a patient owner who can cope with relapses in her behaviour.  In her previous home she was fine for 8months but had a relapse of a couple of weeks when her routine suddenly changed.

Unfortunately for her she does not want to go outside, not even to sunbathe in the garden.  Previous homes have reported that she is terrified of the outside world and trying to get her to go outside will make her anxieties worse. She does however like to sit and watch the world go by from the safety of a windowsill.

Because of her problems Gertie cannot be homed to a rented property.
