Daisy and Buttercup

What's my story?

Name:  Daisy and Buttercup

Age: Daisy is estimated at 2 years old and Buttercup is around 4-5months old now

Arrived at SAA: 02/08/24

About me: Daisy is a beautiful natured cat who adores everyone she meets, she is always the first at the door meowing to say hi and demand her breakfast! She is very affectionate and loves attention and cuddles from the staff and volunteers. She has sadly had many litter of kittens by the looks of it and she is a very devoted mum to Buttercup so they are looking for a home together so she can carry on being a mum to her last little baby. Daisy and Buttercup are always curled up in bed together snuggling and grooming each other and are very upset if they have had to be separated for vet trips! Buttercup was born outside and it took some time for a kind member of the public to trap them so buttercup is still a little bit nervous of people however she is making amazing progress and will continue to thrive in the right home. She is never aggressive and we have never even heard her hiss or growl, she just shy’s away around new people and prefers mums company over that of humans currently. With a patient family and quiet household we are sure Buttercup will continue to learn how lovely people can be and will follow in her mums footsteps but in the meantime, Daisy is happy to give you enough attention for both of them!

Am I an indoor or outdoor cat? Outdoor once Buttercup is old enough

Can I live with dogs? No

Can I live with other cats?  Maybe

Can I live with children?  We need a quiet household for Buttercup to gain confidence so it would depend on the age and personality of the child

All animals adopted from SAA are chipped, vaccinated and neutered before going to their new homes.
