What's my story?
Due to the corona pandemic we have had to temporarily change our adoption process. You can read about the cats that are currently looking for new homes on our website but unfortunately the centre is closed to the public at the moment so you will not be able to visit the cats. We get to know all the cats quite well whilst they are with us and we will do our best to help you choose the cat that will best suit you. We will provide photos and videos where possible so you can get a feel for their personalities but obviously there will be a leap of faith on your part! Don’t worry though as we will always provide rescue backup and take the cat back into our care if the match isn’t right.
Unfortunately we cannot visit your house as we would normally do but we will still be doing a thorough remote homecheck and you must be able to send us videos and photos of your property as part of this process.
As this is a new way of working for us we have initially had to put some restrictions in place to give the best chance of successful adoptions.
We cannot currently accept applications from homes with children under 7yrs old
We cannot currently accept applications from homes with other cats or dogs. (smaller pets are not a problem)
We will prioritise applications from our local area (South Manchester) as we still need to check the address is safe enough for a cat to go outside and currently do not have enough staff to visit homes further away. If you are unsure you can email firstname.lastname@example.org for advice.
